My fellow Brew Enthusiasts,
I hope that this message finds you all in prime health, good spirit and well-hydrated 🍺
First of all, let me start by offering my sincere apologies. I have been away for some time, sadly due to personal circumstances that required my full focus and attention. The COVID-19 situation certainly has not helped, but I am glad to let you know that things are looking up and I am ready to continue where I had left things off…. Sort of.
Over the last couple of weeks, I have reflected a lot about The Beer Collection, what it is, what I want it to be and perhaps most importantly, the value it can bring to you. As a result, I have re-assessed the content that I have produced to date and revisited the objectives and remit of this newsletter.
Over the next couple of weeks, this newsletter will see several changes. The overall goal of these changes is to maximise the value The Beer Collection offers to you, the brew and beer enthusiast. I am pleased to say that the upcoming changes will not affect the subscription model (you will still have free access to quality content). The breadth and scope of this newsletter, however, is.
I am a scientist and what excites me the most is writing about brewing and science. The Beer Collection will, therefore, focus on the science (and biology) of brewing and less on other topics (the history of beer, beer styles, etc). I believe that delivering a newsletter packed with the latest advances in brew science, along with exclusive access to outstanding resources for brewers by brewers, will ensure that The Beer Collection becomes the go-to guide for brewers.
I sincerely hope that you, my dear subscribers, will continue to follow this newsletter on its journey to become THE resource for brew enthusiasts and professionals.
With best wishes,
Edgar from The Beer Collection.
